Overview

We offer a variety of resources for middle school and high school students in grades 7 through 12 both during the academic year and during the summer:

• When: Every other Wednesday from 7PM-9PM, our youth group meets for a time of Bible teaching, singing, games, prayer, accountability & fellowship. Please see out church calendar to see when we meet next!

• 1 on 1 discipling by members of our church.

• 2 retreats (summer and winter) each year to study the Bible more intensively over a weekend.

• Why: Our youth ministry is not a church nor is our goal to replace the regular corporate gathering of the church every Sunday morning. Instead we aim to teach soundly from God’s word, help disciple, and care for students in such a way that encourages and facilitates their participation in the larger corporate assembly with believers of all ages. Furthermore, we believe God’s word teaches parents are to be the primary disciplers of their children. We pray our youth group comes alongside parents and supplements the discipleship already taking place in the home and the church!

An important part of our partnering with parents is coming alongside them to help them think about the challenges of parenting teens.  To that end, we want to help parents by providing:

• Resources that help equip parents with a biblical perspective.

• Counseling, practical guidance and encouragement to persevere in the great calling of being a parent.

Our Youth Group is led by Jacob Aguirre and Angelo Orioli, with the help of several members who volunteer as youth workers.
